Instances

Instances (/licences/instances) lists every instance that has registered with the portal. Statuses: pending, attached, rejected, retired, with a separate suspected clone flag.

  • An instance that presents a valid activation code of its organization is attached straight away. Otherwise it waits for an operator's approval; each new request is reported to LICENCE_MANAGERS.
  • Suspected clone: the same instance showed up from another host or with another key. Its licenses are still served. Clear the suspicion for a legitimate migration, or retire the instance.
  • Retire: the instance is refused from then on and its active licenses are revoked. Transfer reissues the licenses of a reinstalled instance to its new ID. Duplicate a license to copy it for another instance of the same client (DEV, QA).

An instance's page shows its identity, the consent to usage reporting, its licenses, its latest usage report and its prepaid credit (AI and SMS packs): sold, received, consumed and remaining.

Activation codes

Activation codes (/licences/activation-codes): generated for an organization, single-use, valid for 14 days by default (90 at most). The code is only shown when it is created; only its fingerprint is kept. A code can be revoked. A client's referent can also generate codes from "My licenses".

Files (manual mode)

Files (/licences/files): an instance without internet access sends a request file (.wbreq) or a usage file (.wbusage), uploaded here or received by the shared mailbox. The page logs every file received. From an attached instance's page, Download the .wblic or send it by email to provide its licenses, valid until the end of the contract.

Dashboard

Dashboard (/licences/dashboard): for each instance, the last contact, the synchronization mode, the active licenses and the next expiry. An instance needs attention if it exceeds a seat quota or a limit, if it is silent (no contact for 7 days), suspected of cloning, or if its prepaid credit is exhausted. Discovered modules are listed there until an operator marks them as seen.
