The Branding screen (menu Administration › Appearance and languages › Name and logo) sets the application name, its logo and the icons shown by browsers. It is reserved for Administrators.
The settings
- App name (required): shown in the navigation bar and in the page title (the browser tab).
- Show app name in navbar: untick it if the logo already contains the name; the tab title keeps showing it.
- Logo: PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP image, shown in the navigation bar.
- Favicon: the browser tab icon, in ICO, PNG, SVG or WebP. Without an uploaded favicon, the default icon is used.
- Web app manifest: a
.webmanifestor.jsonfile describing the application when it is installed on a phone or a computer. - Apple touch icon: PNG, SVG or WebP icon used when the application is added to the home screen of an Apple device.
- Browserconfig: a
browserconfig.xmlfile read by some Microsoft browsers. - Theme color: color of the address bar in mobile browsers, in
#RRGGBBformat (for example#0A0A0A); the color picker fills in the field. Left empty, no color is declared.
Save applies the settings (Settings saved). A file field left empty keeps the current file; a new file replaces the old one.
Removing a file
Below each uploaded file, Remove logo, Remove favicon, Remove manifest, Remove Apple touch icon or Remove browserconfig removes it at once, without confirmation.
Error messages
- Invalid file format: the file extension is not one of the formats listed for that field.
- Invalid color (expected format: #RRGGBB): the theme color must have six hexadecimal digits preceded by
#.
