Setting up picklists, duplicates and enrichment

Available in en es fr

Updated on 10/25/2026

These screens are for Administrators and CRM administrators. Menu: CRM › CRM administration.

Picklists

Picklists tab (address: /crm/admin/picklists). Four lists:

  • Industries and Sources, offered on an account;
  • Contact roles (decision maker, buyer, technical evaluator…), given on an account or an opportunity;
  • Consent purposes (newsletter, marketing offers…), each with its default legal basis: "consent" means nobody is contacted without explicit agreement.

Each value has a code (fixed, lowercase), a label per language, an order and an active state. Deactivate a value rather than deleting it: records that use it keep their label.

Duplicates

Duplicates tab (address: /crm/admin/duplicate-rules). For accounts and for contacts, each criterion can be:

  • active: it flags similar records at entry and import;
  • blocking: it refuses the entry. Keep it for reliable identifiers (registration or site number, VAT number).

Enrichment

Enrichment tab (address: /crm/admin/enrichment).

  • SIRENE (INSEE, France): create an application on the INSEE API portal (portail-api.insee.fr), subscribe it to the Sirene API, then paste its API key. The key is never shown again: leave the field empty to keep it, or check Clear the key.
  • VIES: public service of the European Commission, no key needed, that checks EU VAT numbers. You can turn it off.

The SIRENE service address must stay an INSEE https address (insee.fr domain); keep the suggested value unless INSEE changes its address. Changing this address clears the stored key: enter it again in the same save. This way the key is never sent anywhere but to INSEE.
